POST OFFICE VACANCY - 2014

POSTAL ASSISTANT 

Postal Department of India has announced vacancy for the post of Postal Assistant. Candidate have to appear in the exam. Earlier this post is filled through the merit basis of 10th and 12th. For this post now candidate have to appear for the examination. Every district have specific post detail candidates are advised to see advertisement first and then apply for the post.

Essential qualification:-

Candidate must have computer knowledge and  they should be 12th class pass.

Examination pattern:-

Part - 1st - There will be written exam for the post. There are four parts of the paper and candidate should  must pass every part of paper. He should get must minimum marks in each part to qualify the paper. 25 questions will be asked for each sections.
Part - 2nd  - After passing part 1st candidate have to pass section 2nd also, where computer proficiency test will be taken on the computer.

Examination fees:-

For general category candidate they have to pay 500/-
For general category candidate they have to pay 100/-

Important dates:-

Commencement of application form on 26 feb. & last date of application form is 27
march. Exam will be taken on for the post is in April . Those candidate who pass the written exam will be called for computer test.
